The Hemi's on the Farm: Part Three, The Max Wedge in the Weeds

As we walked out of the tractor shed, my jaw was still on the ground. I still could not believe that a 1969 Hemi Dodge Charger 500 was sinking into the mud. It is mind boggling. As we headed back, he said to follow him to see the rest of the collection. 

There was more?!



The owner crossed the field and off to the one side I could see it now, rows of Mopars. Mostly 1962-1968 B-bodies such as Belvideres, Satellites, etc... But there was a few oddballs in the group. Right where we started was a old late 60's Dodge Truck and a 50's Plymouth! There was also a Polara, a 65 Barracuda and 70 Plymouth Fury.











In the first group though, the real star was a 64 Plymouth Fury, originally a 426 Max Wedge car the owner said. A very rare car, he said people have gone all over the car trying to buy it. I couldn't get around the car because of the plant growth, but I had no reason to doubt him, with his obvious interest with Mopars.





Further down the line was a few more B-bodies including a 68 GTX, a crushed 66 Coronet, 67 Satellite, 50's Dodge, 65 Satellite and much much more.





















Way in the back there even was a 1967 Barracuda fast back in the mix. Along with some 1964 Plymouth Fury 4-doors and a bunch of old bicycles, motor scooters and steel toys. This part of the farm had a slightly different vibe from the rest.  But everything was nicely organized.  Sitting in the weeds were some Henry J's I believe. There was some sort of farm implement that was using a 440 big block as a weight!



















We walked out of the rows of cars back near the front of the farm. My mind completely blown away by what I had seen, and the owner says, "Wanna see the 1st Generation Hemi collection and what is stored in the first semi?"

Oh boy.....
